Monitoring

Linking Landscapes is implementing long term monitoring of wildlife crossing structures and corridors across the commonwealth.  Wildlife crossing structures are often identified as a priority for public safety and conservation, however, monitoring of these structures is often never implemented.  In other cases, when structures are being proposed, the identification of known wildlife corridors is not always verified in the field.  Our monitoring efforts will attempt to address these questions as well as be used to assess use of road crossing structures, identify wildlife corridors, and to establish long term monitoring sites.
